Defibrillators are life-saving devices, and ensuring they are 100% rescue-ready is essential. Last calendar year, 16.3% of the units tested by MediP Ltd were not rescue-ready. Reasons included out-of-date defibrillator pads, depleted batteries, and device malfunction, requiring further investigation.

A Defibrillator Service includes a fully UKAS-traceable calibration to national standards. The procedure is designed to ensure that the defibrillator is perfectly capable of delivering the correct amount of joules to rescue the patient at the time of the service and calibration.
