BD Vacutainer 4ml glucose analysis tubes are used to preserve blood samples for glucose and lactate determination. Glucose values, in blood samples that are unpreserved, rapidly decrease after being collected. The 4ml glucose analysis tubes contain Sodium Fluoride and Potassium Oxalate as additives to stop glucose values from decreasing after the samples have been collected.
