RESOLON is a monofilament Polyamid 6 thread. This suture material was developed especially for RESORBA. RESOLON undergoes special treatment during the manufacturing process. This accounts for RESOLON's above average softness and flexibility, even in a dry, sterile condition. This results in good handling and knotting qualities with simultaneous optimum knot tensile strength. While the indications for RESOLON are limited due to its hydrophilic nature, RESOLON is particularly well-suited for skin sutures.
